As a JT Apprentice you will get on-the-job training in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment, alongside highly talented specialists across a variety of different business areas.

This is the route our Head of Field Services, Darren Bray took:

Darren first joined JT for a couple of weeks work experience under the Trident scheme before becoming an apprentice and, as he says himself, has ‘never looked back.’

JT funded his BTEC in telecommunications which included paying for him to attend college one day a week whilst learning on the job the rest of the time.

Since then Darren has moved his way up the career ladder in a variety of engineering roles and today is responsible for JT’s vast field services. Darren said “Work can be fun. Show enthusiasm to continually learn, accept ambitious challenges, and demonstrate a strong sense of  team spirit.....and you will always be a part of something exciting and rewarding whilst working at JT”
