JT picked up the Best Go-to-Market Cloud Strategy Award in the inaugural Telco Cloud Forum Awards held in London on 10th May 2016.
Recognising the most successful Telco Cloud Projects of the year, the Awards formed part of the seventh annual Telco Cloud Forum conference.
The final event in the 2016 Institute of Directors’ Seminar Series, sponsored by JT, will explore how angel investing enables small and start-up businesses to source capital.
JT has announced the appointment of Thierry Berthouloux as Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO) based in Jersey. Mr Berthouloux replaces Dave Newbold who held the position of Chief Technical Officer for JT since 2010 and is leaving to take up a new post as Chief Technical Officer for Gigaclear Plc in the UK.
Mr Berthouloux has 25-years’ experience working in the European telecommunications industry; most recently as Chief Technical Officer for Monaco Telecom where he led domestic and international operations, before enlarging his scope to include IT and creating a converged network and IT division in 2013.
Two JT Group directors have been recognised in this year’s IoD Jersey, Director of the Year awards.
At a gala ceremony last night at the Hotel de France, HR Director Richard Summerfield was named as the Young Director of the Year for 2016.
Richard Summerfield leads JT Group’s HR team and has been instrumental in placing HR at the heart of the Group’s strategy, with ’employee engagement’ and ‘driving performance’ being key themes.
Also, Corporate Affairs Director, and JT Group Board member, Daragh McDermott was recognised by the IoD for achieving Chartered Director status.
