What is SD-WAN?
JT’s SD-WAN utilises software to manage your data and applications securely across your WAN. The service enables the Internet, via dedicated IP circuits or broadband links, to form part of your network as a flexible alternative to standard WAN technologies such as private circuits.
JT’s SD-WAN can complement your current MPLS service offering a hybrid network of traditional and new technologies, providing additional security and features.
Security Built In
JT’s SD-WAN is inherently secure; all WAN traffic is encrypted via IPsec tunnelling and a built-in stateful or Next Generation firewall can be delivered as per the licence purchased.
An alternative is to use JT’s SD-WAN ability to service chain. Service chaining provides the option to integrate third party Firewall Virtual Network Function (VNF) into the SD-WAN device.
