The following terms of reference are in addition to and must be read in conjunction with the following JT Terms & Conditions:

  • Data Service Terms & Conditions;
  • Exchange Line Service Terms and Conditions; and
  • Post-paid Mobile Service Terms & Conditions.

Unless otherwise specified, terms used in these Terms of Reference have the same meaning as defined in JT’s Exchange Line Service Terms and Conditions.

Requirements

In order to qualify for JT One for Business, the Customer must agree to the following:

  • The Customer must sign up to a professional broadband or fibre service, a professional mobile service and a landline service, which must all be on the same account. Online billing and payment by Direct Debit are a prerequisite for this service.
  • The Customer agrees to a 24-month contract term for each of their broadband or fibre service and landline service.
A Customer who is within the minimum term of a contract for their existing mobile service, whether with JT or another mobile service provider, cannot transfer their mobile service to a new JT One for Business service until they either: (i) complete the minimum term of their contract; or (ii) pay JT or their mobile service provider (as applicable) for the remainder of that minimum term.

A Customer who is within the minimum term of a contract for their existing JT broadband service or JT landline service may transfer their broadband and/or landline services to a JT One for Business service by signing a new JT One for Business 24-month contract for both services, provided that a Customer cannot downgrade their broadband speed at the time of the transfer.

JT One for Business Broadband Terms:

Once signed up to JT One for Business, a Customer may upgrade the speed of their broadband service at any time without being required to renew or extend the contract term.

The monthly download limits are for peak time usage. Additional usage in excess of the peak time allowance is charged at 10p per GB (1GB = 1,000 MB). Peak time is between 8 am and midnight. Usage is unlimited in the off-peak time between midnight and 8 am.

JT One for Business Mobile Terms:
  • Local data usage outside of allowance will be charged at standard rates
  • Rest of World roamed data outside of allowance will be charged at standard rate per MB
  • Roamed minutes and texts outside of allowance will be charged at standard rate
  • Only local data allowances can be shared across JT SIMs held on the same account

Existing Pay as you go users may transfer their mobile service to the JT One for Business service. The JT account holder of the account on to which the mobile will be transferred must bring photographic identification together with the Pay as you go mobile handset itself into the retail outlet, where the retail staff will process the request.

The call minutes allowance is unique to each JT One for Business mobile service and will not be shared with any other mobiles on the same account. Any additional mobile services purchased in conjunction with JT One for Business will be allocated their call own usage allowance.

The text message allowance only applies to text messages sent from a mobile connected to JT’s network in Jersey or Guernsey, but such text messages can be sent to any number worldwide. JT cannot guarantee delivery of any text message. The text message allowance is for the billed month. Any text messages that remain unused at the end of a month will not be carried over to the following month.

Local mobile data allowance can be shared across mobile services on the same account, providing there is a JT One for Business service on the account. Roamed data allowances for UK/EU and rest of the world cannot be shared across mobile services, they are exclusive to a single JT One for Business mobile service and additional allowances can be purchased if required. The data allowances are for the billed month. Any data that remains unused at the end of a month will not be carried over to the following month.

Any calls, text messages and data used in excess of the roaming allowances will be charged at JT’s standard roaming rates. See www.jtglobal.com/roaming for more information.

The JT One for Business mobile allowances do not include calls made to International and premium rate numbers or any other specialised landline or mobile services that incur charges in excess of standard call charges, as detailed on www.jtglobal.com.

 Up to ten JT One for Business mobile services (each charged at the applicable rate for the mobile option selected by the Customer) are allowed per JT One for Business package.

JT One for Business Fixed Line Terms

Standard Coreline rental is included within the JT One for Business service.  Any additional lines and/or services will need to be ordered separately.

JT One for Business landline allowances do not include calls made to premium rate numbers or any other specialised landline or mobile services that incur charges in excess of standard call charges, as detailed on www.jtglobal.com.

JT One for Business Care Package

The JT One for Business Care Package includes:

One annual engineer visit to review communications systems/equipment such as: internal wiring, router performance, and telephone system compatibility with future products. A performance report will be issued including recommendations and any work the Customer wishes to have done will be quoted and charged at standard rates.  It is the Customers’ responsibility to book this visit through their contact within the JT Business Support team.  Due to engineering schedules, appointments are not transferrable.

A dedicated point of contact within the Business Support team and 24/7 access into the JT Service Management Centre (SMC).

Annual account review and advanced notice of new products/updates.

General terms

Subscription to JT One for Business cannot be taken in conjunction with any other JT landline, mobile, broadband or JT Fibre promotional offers.

If the Customer removes all mobile services, the broadband service, and/or the landline service or the entry level landline call bundle from the JT One for Business account, JT One for Business pricing and allowances for the remaining services are no longer valid. The account holder will be liable to pay for the remaining minimum term on any disconnected service and JT will make all reasonable efforts to contact the account holder to discuss changing the tariff of the remaining service(s). Should the account holder not respond, JT will write to the account holder informing them that the remaining product will be moved to another tariff deemed suitable by JT.

Online billing and payment by Direct Debit are standard on the JT One for Business plan. JT will be entitled to charge an additional £1.25 per month for each of: (i) billing not received online; and (ii) payment made other than by Direct Debit. Therefore a Customer that does not sign up to either online billing or payment by Direct Debit may incur a total additional charge of £2.50 each month.

JT One for Business landline and mobile allowances do not include calls made and text messages sent to premium rate numbers or any other specialised landline or mobile services that incur charges in excess of standard call charges, as detailed on www.jtglobal.com.

Where a landline or mobile allowance is stated to be 1,000,000 minutes, this is the number of minutes that will be applied to the Customer’s account each month regardless of the actual number of minutes available in that month (effectively providing “unlimited” usage).
