We understand that the build-up to university can be a daunting and stressful time. From finalising your UCAS application, waiting to receive your exam results or predicted grades and finally – hoping that you get your place at your chosen university.

That’s why we offer an annual financial grant towards the cost of your studies. We also offer paid work placements over the summer holidays, for future JT superstars.

That’s the path Paulo De Jesus, followed:

Paulo was studying ‘IT for Business and BSc (Hons) in computing studies’ at Highlands College when he applied for the JT Bursary Scheme and successfully secured a JT grant. Throughout his course, he had paid work placements at JT in our IT department where he was kept busy learnt first-hand how to apply what he was learning in College.

At the end of the Bursary scheme, Paulo joined JT as a temp before being accepted onto our Graduate scheme. Paulo says “I’d highly recommend both schemes, they’re fun, interesting and there is always something new to work on.

My advice to anyone thinking of applying is, don’t be afraid to ask questions. There’s so much to do and so many placement possibilities during summer holidays with a variety of career options after.”
